Water

Water is an essential resource for all living organisms. Without water, no life can survive. In many places on earth water is a limited resource. Making sure that everybody has access to sufficient clean water is a major challenge in securing a sustainable development. Also, in areas where there is enough water, the water quality may be poor. Monitoring water quality is therefore important and the pupils can contribute to this means. This is a way of gaining insight into the importance of water in securing the basis of existence.

Schools are hereby invited to work with water issues in the context of sustainable development. The project deadline is December 5th.
